Claude Code for Non-Technical Professionals: Advanced AI Work Without Programming
You do not need to write code to use Claude Code. This session shows non-technical professionals how to set up and use Claude Code safely — GDPR-compliant, for real tasks, with no programming required.
Claude Code is often described as a tool for developers. That description undersells it. For non-technical professionals who are comfortable with Claude.ai, Claude Code opens a new level of capability: longer tasks, persistent context, file management, and the ability to work with documents and data at a scale that the browser interface cannot match.
This full-day session is specifically designed for professionals without a programming background. We will not write code. Instead, we focus on what matters: setting up Claude Code correctly, configuring it for safe and productive use, and running a practical task from start to finish.
The session covers the four configuration elements that make Claude Code useful: CLAUDE.md (your standing instructions), Skills (reusable workflows), Memory (what Claude retains about you and your work), and folder structure (how to organise your AI workspace). We also address GDPR implications — what to configure and what to avoid when handling professional data.
Each participant leaves with a configured Claude Code workspace and at least one completed real task. The Working with Claude in Depth session (CL-B) is recommended.
